Bessie joined Ronald W. Angland & Son as an Associate in December 1995 after spending 10 years in a corporate legal office and later became a partner in the firm. Joining a smaller legal firm provided Bessie with the autonomy required to advance her career in the law and to develop the firm’s business in the community. She has specialised in conveyancing (including subdivision) and estate planning and administration, relationship property, debt recovery, insolvency, disputes and all tasks involved in a general practice. Bessie predominantly works from home but is available for consultation either at the Leeston Office or on home visits.
Bessie is a graduate of the University of Canterbury and takes a keen interest in legal issues and new legislation. She enjoys challenges and works tirelessly for the firm’s clients.
Interests/hobbies:
Away from the office Bessie’s primary interest is golf. Also of major interest are hand crafts, viticulture and wine production, attending the Orchestra and musical theatre.
